Haunting Portraits Of The Homeless

Manchester-based photographer Lee Jeffries first befriended homeless people before taking their portraits. “Situations arose, and I made an effort to learn to get to know each of the subjects before asking their permission to do their portrait,” says Jeffries.
Pls take a look at his work in this Flickr set.

i feel this set contains a bit too much photographer’s own emotions, instead of natually showing their own characters. what’s the strong message HE WANTS to send?

  2. Christoph says:

actually I just like the images but do not see any special thing in it. Anyway.. just photos😉

  3. Victoria says:

the thing is in people’s eyes, the photographer concentrated on them. The eyes show all people’s sorrow, pain, unrealized plans.
